What's the difference between redacting and covering text?
Covering (a black rectangle on top) leaves the text in the file, so it can be copied or uncovered. Redaction deletes the text, image pixels and drawings under the box permanently.
Can I redact the same word on every page?
Yes. Type the word in Search & redact and every match on every page is marked at once.
Can redaction be undone?
Not in the downloaded file — the content is gone. Keep your original if you might need it later.
Is it safe to upload my PDF?
