Terms of Service

By accessing or using fileflexify.com (the “service”), you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. If you use FileFlexify on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you're allowed to accept these Terms for it.

FileFlexify provides online tools to edit, convert, compress, merge, split, fill, protect, unlock, redact and recognise text in PDFs, documents and images. Some tools run in your browser; others process files on our servers as described in the Privacy Policy.

We may add, change or remove features at any time. Most tools are free; if we ever introduce paid features, we'll show the price clearly before you pay.

You keep all rights to the files you upload or open. You give us a limited permission to store and process them only as needed to perform the task you request and deliver the result to you.

You're responsible for making sure you have the right to use, convert and change every file, and that doing so doesn't break any law or anyone else's rights.

You agree not to:

• Upload malware or files designed to harm our systems or other users.
• Disrupt, overload or try to bypass the security or usage limits of the service.
• Use bots or automated scripts for bulk processing without our written permission.
• Process content that is illegal, or that infringes copyright or other rights.
• Remove watermarks, passwords or restrictions from documents you don't own or aren't authorised to change.

An account is optional. If you create one, keep your login details secure — we recommend turning on two-factor authentication — and you're responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close accounts that break these Terms.

Free use is subject to limits on file size, number of files and requests, which we may adjust to keep the service fast and fair. We aim for high availability but can't guarantee the service will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may pause it for maintenance.

Conversions depend on the source file, so complex layouts, fonts or scanned pages may not convert perfectly. Always check important results and keep a copy of your original files — we delete processed files automatically and can't recover them.

The FileFlexify name, logo, website design and software belong to us. Some processing engines are open-source software used under their own licences, listed on our Open-source licences page.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the maximum extent permitted by law, FileFlexify isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost data or profits, or for conversion inaccuracies arising from your use of the service. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under consumer law that can't be excluded.

We may update these Terms as the service evolves. We'll change the date at the top of this page and announce significant changes on the website. Continuing to use FileFlexify after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be handled by the competent courts of India, without affecting any mandatory protection you have under the law of the country where you live.
